Defensive Driving
Saturday, May 16 10:00 AM—4:00 PM

On Saturday, May 16th from 10am to 4pm, the library will be hosting a Defensive Driving Course presented by Peter Khan. Why should you take this course? You can save 10% on your vehicle liability, collision, and personal injury protection (PIP) insurance premiums for THREE YEARS! You could also reduce up to FOUR POINTS on your driving record.

$30 due day of class. Please bring pen, paper, and a bag lunch.
*This is NOT the five hour course needed to take your driving test.*

D&D One-Shot for Teens!
Tuesday, May 19 6:00—8:00 PM

Calling teen heroes, ages 12 - 17! Dungeons and Dragons has been around for decades and is a truly immersive table-top adventure game. Come and join our Dungeon Master Arthur and fellow players for a short adventure and make new friends, build characters, and journey on an epic quest in a world of fantasy and fun. All interest and experience levels are welcome.

Registration is required, and attendance is limited to 6 players
Chess Club

Chess teaches us to think, visualize, problem solve, strategize and take risks. Play the game that spans cultures and generations. By learning chess, one of the oldest and most fascinating of games, you can make a friend and learn a little sportsmanship. Our Chess Club meets the 2nd & 4th Thursday of each month at 5:30pm. All ages and skill levels welcome.

Unearth a Story Summer Art Show!

We are asking Kids & Teens to make a poster showing their interpretation of our Summer Reading theme: Unearth A Story! Posters should feature our theme's elements: dinosaurs, prehistoric times, archeology, discovery, and adventures into our past!

All submissions will be displayed in our gallery throughout July and August. We will also host a very special Artist Reception for all participants on Friday, July 17th at 6pm.
