Prehistoric Poster Party! Friday, June 12 1:00—3:00 PM We're looking to showcase the youngest artists among our patrons again this summer with our "UNEARTH A STORY" Kids & Teens Summer Art Show! Kids can stop by today to make their "Unearth a Story!" poster to be hung in our art gallery this summer! We'll provide the poster board, markers, crayons, and more - you just need to bring your imagination! Can't make it today? Have a teen that wants to participate? Drop off a poster any time before July 3rd! About the art show: Open to ages 4 to 17, submissions should be posters no larger than 12in x 18in showcasing the 2026 Summer Reading theme: UNEARTH A STORY! (So it should include things like dinosaurs, prehistoric times, archeology, etc.) All submissions are due by Friday, July 3rd so that they can be put on display throughout the summer!
Drop-In Father's Day Craft Class - ages 3-6yrs Tuesday, June 16 1:00—2:00 PM ages 5-11yrs Wednesday, June 17 4:00—5:00 PM ages 3-6yrs Thursday, June 18 1:00—2:00 PM Kids can stop by to make an awesome Father's Day craft for a special someone in their life! No registration required! Just stop by!
Summer Reading Kickoff Party! Thursday, June 25 4:30—6:00 PM Kids, teens, and their families are invited to join us for our SUMMER READING KICKOFF PARTY! Join us as Mr. Magico kicks off summer with a hilarious comedy magic show for the whole family! Before and after the show kids and teens can sign up for our Summer Reading programs, get some cool dinosaur temporary tattoos, and enjoy some dino themed snacks! No need to sign up to attend - just come by the Library between 4:30pm and 6pm on Thursday, June 25th!
Unearth a Story Summer Art Show! We are asking Kids & Teens to make a poster showing their interpretation of our Summer Reading theme: Unearth A Story! Posters should feature our theme's elements: dinosaurs, prehistoric times, archeology, discovery, and adventures into our past! All submissions will be displayed in our gallery throughout July and August. We will also host a very special Artist Reception for all participants on Friday, July 17th at 6pm.
