Computer Use

  • twelve public computers with internet access

Printing

  • black and white ONLY
  • $.20 per page after two free pages per day*
  • print from our computers
  • remote/wireless printing available from your device (smartphone, laptop, etc)

Faxing

  • $1 per page, sending and receiving*
  • limit 15 pages per person, per day
  • continental US numbers only – we cannot fax internationally

Scanning

  • free self-service document scanner on one public computer
  • staff can scan and email for $1 per page*

Photocopies

  • self-service
  • black and white ONLY
  • single-side ONLY
  • $.25 per page – only coins and $1 bills accepted

Notary

  • no appointment necessary
  • please call the Library for that day’s availability
  • Not available on Saturdays.
  • DO NOT PRE-SIGN YOUR DOCUMENTS.

Exam Proctoring

  • by appointment only (email director@pvlibrary.org to schedule)
  • $20 for non-residents
  • Not available on Saturdays.

Tech Help

  • by appointment only for Pleasant Valley residents

Museum Passes

  • currently offer passes to 12 museums in the tri-state area
  • each pass has its own rules, but in general they offer receive free or discounted admission
  • most passes check out for one week
  • some passes are limited to Pleasant Valley patrons only
  • please see our Museum Pass page for more details

HotSpot Loans

  • one week loan
  • may be checked out once per month per household

NY State Talking Book & Braille

  • accessible books and audiobooks for those with sight, hearing, or other impairments
  • please call or stop by for more information

Home Delivery Service

  • volunteers will deliver library items to homebound patrons in our service area on a monthly basis
  • please call or stop in for more information

Heating and Cooling Center

 

*PAYMENTS: we can only accept cash or check for fees and fines less than $10. For fees over $10 we can accept credit/debit cards however an additional 4% fee will be applied to all card charges.
