Computer Use
– eight public computers, plus two in the Teen Room and two in the Children’s Room
– Microsoft Office

Faxing
– $1 per page, sending and receiving*
– limit 15 pages per person, per day
– continental US numbers only – we cannot fax internationally
Photocopies
– self-service

– 25 cents per page – only coins and $1 bills accepted – does not give change

Exam Proctoring
– by appointment only (email director@pvlibrary.org to schedule)

Home Delivery Service
– volunteers will delivery library items to homebound patrons in our service area on a monthly basis

Community Pantry
– we offer a Community Food Pantry near the rear entrance of the Library
– the Pantry is available during normal Library hours
– anyone may take what they need from the Pantry

– black & white ONLY

Scanning

Cooling Center
– the Library is a legally designated Dutchess County Cooling Center
*PAYMENTS: for fines and fees under $10, we can ONLY accept cash. For fees over $10 we can accept credit/debit cards however an additional 4% fee will be applied to all card charges.
PROGRAMS
The library offers on-going weekly and monthly programs, as well as special events for all ages. Please see our Calendar page for more information about our current programs.
- Wellness programs: we offer several yoga sessions, Pilates classes, and meditation programs throughout the month
- Children’s Storytimes: we offer toddler and pre-k storytimes all year long
- Just for Seniors: Exercise meets twice a week, Brain Games every Tuesday, and a movie matinee once a month – all just the 50+ community
- Chess Club: all ages and skill levels meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays each month between 5:30pm and 8pm
- Arts & Crafts: we offer a monthly adult Crafterday, monthly Take & Make adult crafts, plus after-school crafting classes for kids as well as special holiday and school-break classes throughout the year
- Evening Book Group at 7pm on the third Wednesday of every month
- Special Events & Programs: each month we offer several programs on a variety of topics. Past programs have included but are not limited to: author talks, movie screenings, gardening programs, virtual presentations, health & wellness events, history programs, concerts, and more!
