Eleanor Roosevelt: Triumphs and Tragedies

Many remember Eleanor Roosevelt’s distinguished career in two parts: First Lady of the United States and ‘First Lady of the World’. Her work at the United Nations along with the social and political contributions she made are clearly documented. Please join us on Tuesday, October 24th at 6:30pm as Jeffrey S. Urbin, Education Specialist at the Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum, details some of the behind the scenes forces that shaped Mrs. Roosevelt into our longest serving and most actively involved First Lady.

Registration is required. Please register on our calendar, call the library at 635-8460, or email plvprograms@yahoo.com to save your seat.
